GENERAL QUESTIONS
Q: Do you deliver every image you shoot?
A: No. I will eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery.
Q: My kids can’t do an hour, do you provide a mini-session?
Yes! I provide a 30-minute mini session. Perfect for growing families with really little ones.
Q: What is your photography style?
A: My style is defined by the moments that I capture. I try to catch a moment of joy, that shared look between couples or a look of adoration from the kids, all the while chasing light, capturing beauty and keeping it simple. My goal is to get photographs of you being you. I definitely don’t put you in poses that are uncomfortable or require you to plaster a smile on the whole time.
Q: I get nervous in front of the camera. Will you be directing us?
A: I provide a little bit of direction, especially in the beginning of a shoot to just help you feel more comfortable. As the shoot progresses though, I find that my clients relax and are able to be themselves in front of the camera. Once that magic is happening, I just try to stay out of the way and capture those beautiful moments while they are happening!
Q: How many images does a session usually yield?
A: One- hour sessions usually yield about 100-125 photos. You can expect around half that for a mini-session.
Q: Do you touch up all the images in our image download?
A: Yes. Every image I provide you is post produced. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, tone-mapping, and other corrections.
Q: How long does it take to get my photos?
Production times vary, however, your digital files will generally be completed within 2 weeks after the photo shoot. If you require rush processing, a fee of $150.00 will be charged.
Q: What rights do I have to the digital prints?
A: You have the right to reprint images whenever you want.
Q: Do you provide the digital negatives after the shoot?
A: Yes. All of my packages come with Full Resolution image download available online. You own the rights to all your photos!
Q: What should I wear??
A: I recommend clothing that you feel comfortable in – coordinating colors as a family is recommended rather than matching. Also, wearing all black or all white is not recommended due to lighting issues that come with that. If you’re planning an outdoor session in the winter, think about coats, gloves, and hats. In the summer, dress in layers that you can easily take off if you get too hot. Let your kids have a say in what they wear…Happy kids make for happy photos! And Let your clothing match your surroundings.
